How fast does rotatec deliver?
Your complete order is ready to ship within 48 hours at the latest and usually reaches you within 5 working days. We deliver directly from stock to dental clinics and laboratories, with EU-wide dropshipping to end customers, depots or dealers on request. rotatec handles customs clearance and import into Austria and ships EU-wide from there – no costs beyond those stated in the shop apply.
What terms do dealers receive?
Registered dealers see their individual terms live from our ERP system in the webshop and can order around the clock. Registration is via our dealer form.
How are rotary instruments reprocessed correctly?
rotatec products are supplied non-sterile and are reusable. Products designed for single use only are marked accordingly on the label. You can clean and reprocess suitable products using your validated reprocessing procedure. Do not use alcohol-based agents when reprocessing polishers. Our full application and reprocessing recommendations are available as a PDF in the downloads section.
Are rotatec products certified?
Yes. rotatec is ISO 13485 certified, all products are CE-certified and comply with the European Medical Device Regulation (MDR).
What does the colour ring system on diamonds mean?
The colour ring indicates the grit: white = ultra fine, yellow = extra fine, red = fine, no ring = medium, green = coarse, black = super coarse, blue = ultra coarse.
What does the shank code (FG 314, RA 204) mean?
The middle digits of our REF number, i.e. positions 4–6 of the ISO number, indicate the shank: 314 = FG (friction grip, turbine/red contra-angle, 1.6 mm shank Ø), 204 = RA (contra-angle), 104 = HP (handpiece). This tells you which drive the instrument fits.
Where are rotatec instruments made?
Our instruments are developed, manufactured and distributed to ISO 13485 standards at our Appenzell site. Swiss Made stands for consistent quality, short delivery routes and full traceability.
Can practices or labs order directly?
Yes. Practices and laboratories in the EU order directly in the webshop. After registration you see availability and prices live and can reorder at any time. We import and clear customs into the EU for you – there are no hidden extra costs beyond those stated in the shop. Your documents are available in your customer account.
What about returns and warranty?
We handle complaints and returns easily via your customer account or your contact person. Within 14 days you can test our products without obligation and return them free of charge if you are not satisfied. After this period, returns are unfortunately no longer possible.
Can I get sample sets to view?
Yes. We are happy to send you sample sets for a live preview, free of charge for 4 days, to your clinic or laboratory. We organise the shipping both ways for you. Simply get in touch with our sales team.
Who can order from the rotatec webshop?
The shop is for business customers in the dental field: dental practices, clinics, hospitals, dental laboratories and trade or distribution partners. During registration we verify the professional background.
